BREASTFEEDING

We encourage and support breastfeeding
and a woman's right to breastfeed

Did you know that one of the best things that you can do for your baby is breastfeed?
Formulas try to replicate breast milk and always fail.  This is because your breast
milk has the perfect mix of proteins and fats for YOUR baby at each stage of his/ her
development.  It's also important to know that formulas have been recalled --
sometimes after causing injuries and death to babies.

To provide your baby with the best start
and the best future, please consider
breastfeeding for at least the first 12 months.

You may be surprised at the extreme health benefits breastfeeding offers
both you AND your baby.
Click here to read 101 reasons to breastfeed.
Among these reasons are:

Decreased allergies, asthma, eczema, ear infections and U.T.I.s for your baby

Increased bond between mom and baby and subsequently better social development

A lowered risk of cancer in both mom and baby

Increased loss of pregnany pounds in mom

Higher I.Q. in breastfed babies

Breastfeeding is also less expensive than buying bottles and formula
